The Daily Plan-It: Farmers’ Market, Summer Crafts for Kids, and Fine Peduncle

Good morning and happy hump day! Take a look at what’s going on around town this Wednesday.

Local artist R.L. Gibson’s new exhibit “Do I Know You,” which features xerography on canvas, is on display at the Emporium Center. The center opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. It’s free to go check out the artwork.

It’s market day on Market Square! Swing by the farmers’ market for some veggies or other fun stuff! It’ll be there from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

At noon in the visitor center, L Shape Lot will perform for WDVX’s Blue Plate Special, along with Mr. Charlee Boxwood. As always, it’s free to attend.

Smart Toys and Books will have a summer break crafts sessions for kids this afternoon at 1. It’s $6 to participate. More info here.

Wrap up the night at the Pilot Light, where Fine Peduncle will perform, along with Chiffon. The show starts at 10 p.m. Cover’s $5. 18+ only.
