The Daily Plan-It: Emi Sunshine and the Rain, Pilates, and Jazz on the Square

Good morning! You need plans? We have ideas. Take a look at what’s going on around town today.

At noon in the visitor center, Emi Sunshine and the Rain will perform for WDVX’s Blue Plate Special, along with Kata Hay. As always, it’s free to attend.

The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center will host its first major event at 4 p.m.: The MediaWorks Demo Day. Nine start-up companies have gone through a crash course in how to run a successful media business with the help of some local advisors. Tonight they’ll pitch their ideas to potential investors—in front of an audience.

Fit in a workout tonight at Beaver Creek Cumberland Church, which will have a pilates class at 6:30. The first class you take there is free,  and then $4 per class or $24 per month of classes. For more info call (865) 622-3103 or email roxy@knoxvillepersonaltraining.com.

It’s Jazz on the Square night! Bring your lawn chairs to Market Square and enjoy the musical stylings of the Marble City 5. It’s free to attend!

Wrap up the night at the Preservation Pub, where Homemade Wine will perform at 10 p.m. Cover’s $3. 21+ only.
