The Daily Plan-It: Muse Monday, Yoga, and EmiSunshine

Good morning! Need some rainy day plans? We’ve got ‘em! Take a look at what’s going on around town today.

If you’ve got some pre-school-aged kiddos, head over to the East Tennessee Discovery Center for Muse Monday. With the price of admission, kiddos can participate in S.T.E.A.M.-based activities. More info here.

At noon in the visitor center, check out the Wasted Lives, who’ll perform for WDVX’s Blue Plate Special, along with Karen Jonas. It’s free to attend, as always.

After work, head over to the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church for a gentle yoga and meditation class. Donations will be accepted. For more info call (865) 577-2021 or email yogaway249@gmail.com.

Pint-sized chanteuse EmiSunshine and her backing band the Rain will perform for WDVX’s Tennessee Shines program this evening in the visitor center at 7. Tickets to the show are $10. You can buy them during the Blue Plate Special or at the door, which opens at 6.

Wrap up the night at the Preservation Pub, where Carolina Wray will perform at 10 p.m. Cover’s $3. 21+ only.
