Chicago folk/bluegrass outfit the Henhouse Prowlers will perform at Barley’s Taproom and Pizzeria tonight at 10. 21+ only.
Ijams Nature Center’s fourth annual Hummingbird Festival will kick off at 8 a.m. and go until 3 p.m. Real, live hummingbirds will be fitted with a tracking band, and several experts will be on hand to talk about birds, plants, and other wildlife. It’s $5 to attend, and children under 6 get in free. More info here.
Heading down to the Market Square Farmers Market? Like wine? Beans Creek Winery will be there for a little wine tasting. For $5-$10, you get a wine glass and tastes of any of the wines you’d like! More info here.
