Knoxville Americana band the Black Lillies, led by Cruz Contreras, have just announced they’ll be headlining a New Year’s Eve show at the Tennessee Theatre this year. They’ll be taking over from the Dirty Guv’nahs, who have held the stage at the Tennessee for the last few years on Dec. 31.
The show, which will cap off a string of almost 30 dates for the band between September and the end of the year, will be the Lillies’ first hometown appearance, aside from a couple of festival performances, since March 2013.

Tickets are $40-$55 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 5.
