The Daily Plan-It:Life Drawing Session, Vintage Fashion Show, and Tim Halperin

Good morning! We’re inching toward the weekend, and there’s plenty going on around town today. Take a look.

At noon in the visitor center, the Wilhelm Brothers will perform for WDVX’s Blue Plate Special, along with Hearts Gone South. It’s free to attend, as always.

Artists! The Candoro Arts and Heritage Center will have a life drawing session—with live models, no instruction—at 2 p.m. Membership is not required to participate. Just bring your sketching materials and $10. For more info call (865) 573-0709.

Goodwill Industries will hold its 30th annual vintage fashion show tonight at 6 at the Hilton downtown (though the pre-sale starts at 5 p.m.). Funds raised during the evening will go back to Goodwill. It’s $40 to attend. More info here.

Looking to broaden your horizons and  try a new dance style? Check out belly dancing. Knox Dance Worx Studio will have a class at 8 p.m. It’s $12 to participate. More info here.
